Our next attempt to connect with students was through inviting freshman onto the quad to play some ultimate frisbee! We did this on Wednesday and Thursday night of the first week of class. I even approached and befriended the photography editor of the school's newspaper (the Crimson and White) and got us featured in the newspaper! ( I can't seem to find a link to show you exactly). Regardless! Here are a few ultimate pics! The weather worked out to be perfect for ultimate both nights and some other people on the quad joined in on our game too. Not even the rain could stop us! My brother was even in town during these nights and so Rossy got to play too! As the result of these ultimate games, we were able to start conversations with a few students who ended up becoming involved with our ministry. It wasn't as successful as a social event as we expected but even if one student engaged with our ministry because of it, it was well- worth our time and energy!
